Location: Central, M1

Teaching Personnel are currently requiring a Secondary Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team and help support many students. This role offers full-time hours and will be looking to start in September. It is a great opportunity to support students with additional behavioural needs in classroom and social settings. The school is situated in central Manchester, making it central to various public transport links and there is also access to the staff car park. The pay for this role will be around £95 per day dependent on experience.

Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting children and young people with behavioural issues is beneficial but not essential.
  • The ability to build relationships is crucial and excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
  • It is important to have a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and the ability to work well as a team.
Job Duties:
  • This role may involve dealing with challenging behaviours, so it is important to have patience and compassion.
  • The assistant will work closely with students to provide support with implementing behaviour management strategies whilst providing an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • You will be responsible for implementing individual behaviour plans and supporting students in their development.
