The Role:
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking multiple motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across several of our mainstream primary schools within the Guildford area. The ideal educators would have experience working either 1-1 or within small groups of students either in a mainstream primary or SEN School. As an agency we work with an abundance of schools in the area seeking support staff on either a full-time, part-time or flexible basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 support to a student or small group work within a resource base
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Supporting students in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning
- Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher
Key Requirements:
- Passion for education and helping students succeed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with young people
- Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is important
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided)
