Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a passionate and resilient Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEMH secondary provision in Failsworth. The Role
As a Qualified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and adaptable lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils. You will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes. Working closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff, you will help create a calm, consistent, and supportive classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEMH pupils or a strong interest in this area
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in an SEMH or alternative provision setting
- Team Teach training (or willingness to complete training)
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Experience managing challenging behaviour in a supportive setting
