We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a non-verbal autistic child for a term before the child goes to specialist school.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children, ideally in an EYFS and SEND school setting
- A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young learners
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEND support (desirable)
What You'll Do:
- Support a child 1:1
- Foster a safe, positive and inclusive environment
- Help the child develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Collaborate closely with the school’s SENDCO
- Be confident working with a child who requires patience and compassion
