We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Nursery Teaching Assistants to support nurseries and early years settings within primary schools across the S12 area and surrounding locations. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Promote children's learning, development, and well-being through play-based activities.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Observe and record children's progress where required.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent (essential).
- Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or school-based early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to different school environments.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two satisfactory professional references.
