Experienced SEND Teacher Bradford Location: Bradford Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (Term-time only) Start Date: ASAP or January 2026 About the Role We are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join a specialist independent setting in Bradford supporting students with a range of special education needs, including autism and associated communication or learning differences. You ll play a key role in delivering creative, individualised learning programmes that help every pupil achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes Use a variety of teaching strategies to support communication, independence, and emotional regulation Create a calm, structured classroom environment using positive behaviour support principles Work closely with therapists, SENCOs, and support staff to ensure joined-up provision Contribute to reviews, reports, and planning for pupil progress Person Specification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) with proven SEND experience Skilled in working with pupils with ASC, communication needs or complex learning profiles Excellent understanding of differentiation, visual supports and sensory-based learning Compassionate, patient, and confident managing diverse classroom needs Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and lifelong learning What You ll Receive A supportive and collaborative staff team Access to CPD in areas such as autism awareness, communication strategies and trauma-informed practice Excellent resources and smaller class sizes Competitive salary, paid to scale, plus ongoing professional development If you re a passionate educator ready to help every learner shine, we d love to hear from you.
