Teaching Personnel is working with a number of secondary schools across the Exeter area to recruit passionate and adaptable English Teachers. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to support pupils in different learning environments.
The Role:
- Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)
- Delivering engaging lessons in English Language and Literature
- Supporting students’ reading, writing, and communication skills
- Following school schemes of work and adapting lessons to meet learners’ needs
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or is working towards QTS
- Has strong subject knowledge in English
- Is confident and flexible working across multiple schools
- Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management
