Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting students with additional needs?

We are looking for dedicated TAs to join the school's Learning and Additional Needs (LAN) provision within a mainstream secondary school.

  • Support students with a range of needs, including ASD, SLCN and MLD.
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support both within lessons and the LAN unit.
  • Help students develop their learning, communication, confidence and independence.
  • Build positive relationships with students and adapt your approach to their individual needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and other professionals to provide consistent support.
  • Contribute to a calm, inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Support students across the curriculum and with targeted interventions where required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous SEN experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting students with ASD, SLCN or MLD is highly desirable.
  • A patient, calm and compassionate approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Someone proactive, adaptable and genuinely passionate about supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
