Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a 1:1 capacity within specialist SEN schools in Epsom, Surrey.

This role focuses on providing individualised support to a specific student, helping them access learning, regulate emotions, and reach their full potential in a supportive and structured environment.

You will be working in welcoming, specialist SEN schools supporting pupils aged 5–18 with needs including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

As a 1:1 HLTA, you will:

  • Implement personalised education and behaviour plans
  • Build a consistent, trusting relationship with the pupil

HLTA qualified (essential)

Experienced supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis

Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
