What You\'ll Be Doing As an English tutor, you\'ll be responsible for: Providing engaging and effective 1-to-1 English tuition outside of the mainstream school environment. Focusing on strengthening understanding and building confidence in all areas of English, including reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and literary analysis. Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs and goals of each student. Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic growth and a deeper appreciation for the English language. Potentially supporting students with exam preparation and revision strategies for English language and literature papers. What We\'re Looking For TP Tutors is seeking candidates with: Strong knowledge and a passion for English language and literature. Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or holding an equivalent qualification in education or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex literary and grammatical concepts clearly. The ability to create engaging and accessible learning materials relevant to the English curriculum. A current DBS certificate and willingness to subscribe to the Update Service. What We Offer Competitive Pay: Earn between £25 - £30 per hour (exact rate dependent on the funding provided for the pupil\'s tuition and your experience/expertise). We\'re committed to offering the best possible rate based on available resources. Flexible Hours: Work between Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Potential for additional hours may also be available. Generous Time Off: Enjoy approximately 13 weeks off per year, giving you a great work-life balance.
