English Instructor – Secondary School (Full Time)

Are you confident leading classes and passionate about English, but not a fully qualified teacher? Teaching Personnel are looking for an English Instructor to deliver lessons in one of our partner secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, tutors or instructors with strong subject knowledge who want to gain valuable classroom experience in English.

This school thrives on resilience and determination – behaviour can sometimes be challenging, but the right candidate will see this as a rewarding opportunity to help students grow in confidence and ability. With your enthusiasm for English and confidence in the classroom, you’ll be able to make a real difference.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared English lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of a qualified teacher.

  • Support students with a wide range of abilities to access the curriculum and build key skills.

  • Create a positive learning environment through consistency, patience and strong behaviour management.

  • Develop your subject-specialist experience, honing your classroom leadership skills.

  • Work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure student progress.
