Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in supportive and inclusive schools across the EN1 area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and want to make a meaningful difference in the classroom. Both full time and part time roles are available, with daily pay rates of £90-£105, paid weekly. Schools in EN1 offer welcoming, structured environments where staff are valued and pupil wellbeing is a top priority. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure pupils receive the right support to succeed.

The Role

  • Support pupils with additional needs such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and communication difficulties
  • Work one-to-one or with small groups, in and out of the classroom
  • Help pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged in lessons
  • Support emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development
  • Build confidence and independence in learners

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Child Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel)
  • Satisfactory references covering the last three years
