This role is ideal if you've worked with SEN children as a teacher, TA, support worker or tutor and are looking for something more meaningful and flexible.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions tailored to each child
- Support learners with SEN (this could include ASD, SEMH and ACE) in a 1:1 setting
- Work in homes or local community settings (e.g. libraries), agreed with families
- Build confidence and re-engage children with their learning
- Track progress and adapt sessions to support ongoing development
- Use positive behaviour strategies to keep pupils focused and motivated
You'll be working with children who need that extra time, patience and support to succeed - helping them re-build confidence, access learning, and achieve outcomes that may have felt out of reach.
