About the Roles
Teaching Personnel are working with SEND schools and specialist provisions across Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire area to recruit qualified Teachers and Learning Support Assistants. We currently have several opportunities available for candidates ready to start immediately and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with additional needs. These roles are based within supportive school environments across Southampton and nearby areas such as Eastleigh, Totton, and the wider Hampshire region.
Role Responsibilities
- Teachers
- Deliver engaging, SEND-focused lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Work closely with LSAs, SENCOs, and the wider school team
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Support children with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
- Experienced LSAs or Teaching Assistants
- Candidates passionate about supporting pupils in SEND settings
- Individuals who hold an enhanced child-only DBS (or are willing to obtain one)
