Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Eastleigh area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation, and academic progress
- Contribute to the wider school community as needed
Qualifications
- Experience supporting children or young people (school-based experience preferred but not essential)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and adapt
- An up-to-date DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
