We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive Junior school on a permanent, part-time basis starting from September 2026. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering high-quality interventions, leading whole class learning when required, and working closely with teachers to help every child achieve their full potential. The school would also consider an educator who is interested in gaining the HLTA qualification and has previous experience in education.

Pay: £20,872 to £22,964 per annum

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds HLTA status (or equivalent qualification)
  • Has previous experience working in a primary school setting – essential
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is confident leading groups and whole-class sessions when needed
  • Shows initiative, flexibility, and a positive, child-centred approach
