Teaching Personnel is working closely with welcoming and supportive primary schools in and around Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey.
The Role:
- Support children aged 3–5 within the Early Years setting
- Assist the class teacher with daily activities and lesson preparation
- Encourage learning through play and exploration
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with children in EYFS (school or nursery based)
- Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic about early years education
- Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
- Works well as part of a team and uses initiative
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
