Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual with a passion for early years education? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting EYFS Teaching Assistants to support welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Stockton-on-Tees. Part-time and full-time roles are available to suit your availability.

Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant (Part-Time & Full-Time)

Responsibilities

  • Support Nursery and Reception children with early learning, routines, and play-based activities
  • Work alongside class teachers to create a safe, engaging learning environment
  • Provide additional support to children with SEND or early developmental needs
  • Encourage social, emotional, and academic growth through positive interactions
  • Help prepare resources and maintain a stimulating classroom environment

Requirements

  • Experience working within an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception)
  • A nurturing, proactive, and flexible attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Early Years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
