A friendly and nurturing nursery school in Stockton-on-Tees is currently seeking a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children's development in a warm, welcoming environment.

Position: Full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant

Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role:

  • Supporting the teaching and care of children aged 2-5 years
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Supporting children’s learning, play, and personal development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Working closely with teachers and other staff to support individual pupil needs
  • Supporting routines including mealtimes, toileting, and outdoor learning

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
  • Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
