Overview

EYFS Teacher – Full time, Long Term (Potential for Contract post supply). Pay £30,000-£45,000 based on full time work dependant on experience. Based in Preston, Lancashire. The role is to begin from October 2025. Early Career Teachers and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Planning lessons for all pupils
  • Differentiate to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Utilise Teaching Assistants when available
  • Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school
  • Attend CPD sessions
  • Safeguarding pupils
  • Commit to the school\’s Covid-19 measures to ensure safety of all in the school

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Recent experience working as a class teacher in an EYFS department
  • Up to date knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and the pedagogy to support this
  • Strong behaviour management, strong classroom presence and awareness of school policies
  • Flexibility to attend after school INSET sessions, staff meetings and extra-curricular clubs

School Support

The support for children on Free School Meals and the children who receive funding for Special Educational Needs is excellent across school and monitored effectively by the dedicated SENCO. As a teaching member of staff, you will be well supported by the Head teacher and from the SENCO. Both are typically involved in the day-to-day running of the school and will ensure any adverse behaviour is dealt with accordingly in line with the school\’s policy.
