We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team at our school. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children at the start of their educational journey. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn through play, exploration and structured activities.
Location: Barrowford
Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour
Start Date: September 2026 or ASAP
Contract: Full-time 8.30am - 3.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS learning activities
- Work with children individually and in small groups to support development
- Assist with early reading, phonics and numeracy skills
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
- Support observations and assessment in line with EYFS framework
- Assist with personal care where required
