Early Career Teachers (ECTs) | Tameside | Start Date: September
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a wide network of primary schools across Manchester, including Tameside and surrounding areas, who are eager to welcome enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers into their teams.
These schools are seeking both day-to-day supply and longer-term class teachers to cover planned absences and ongoing vacancies. This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs who want to build confidence, gain experience across different year groups, and secure roles that suit their availability—whether flexible short-term placements or full-time long-term opportunities.

We want passionate ECTs who are excited to begin their career and bring fresh ideas into the classroom:
- A strong passion for teaching and supporting children’s development
- Completed teaching placements in UK primary schools
- QTS (or pending QTS for final-year trainees)
- A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (support can be provided)
