Requirements
- Hold, or be working towards, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a degree in a relevant subject
- Be confident communicating with students, staff, and parents
- Build positive and professional relationships within the school environment
- Be committed to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of behaviour
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
As an ECT, you will
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons within your subject specialism
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting your teaching where needed
- Support students with different learning needs and abilities
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using school policies
- Contribute to the wider school community where possible
