Teaching Personnel is recruiting Graduate Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Teesside. This flexible role is ideal for graduates who are considering a career in teaching, education, psychology, or youth work and want practical school experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes when teachers are absent and help ensure students remain engaged with their learning. No teaching qualification is required.
The Role
- Supervise pre-prepared lessons in secondary schools (Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4)
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support pupils in completing the work set by their teacher
- Encourage students to stay focused and engaged
- Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies
