Whether you specialise in KS1, KS2, or feel confident teaching across both, we will prioritise placements that align with your strengths.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons following school planning and curriculum expectations
  • Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Uphold school policies on safeguarding, behaviour and learning
  • Communicate effectively with staff teams to ensure smooth day-to-day cover
  • Make a positive impact on pupils’ learning, even during short-term placements

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and flexibility
  • Be confident stepping into a variety of school settings
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ideally have access to your own vehicle to reach a wider range of schools. Public transport is perfectly acceptable — access to fewer schools won’t affect your suitability
