Whether you specialise in KS1, KS2, or feel confident teaching across both, we will prioritise placements that align with your strengths.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging lessons following school planning and curriculum expectations
- Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND
- Foster a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Uphold school policies on safeguarding, behaviour and learning
- Communicate effectively with staff teams to ensure smooth day-to-day cover
- Make a positive impact on pupils’ learning, even during short-term placements
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and flexibility
- Be confident stepping into a variety of school settings
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ideally have access to your own vehicle to reach a wider range of schools. Public transport is perfectly acceptable — access to fewer schools won’t affect your suitability
