We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Darlington from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or qualified HLTA who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development across the primary age range.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning across the school
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with varying educational needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Hold HLTA status or have relevant experience
- Have experience working within a primary school setting
