Are you a qualified Food Technology Teacher looking to inspire young minds in Luton secondary schools? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting passionate and engaging educators to fill both long-term and short-term positions across local schools. With an increasing focus on healthy eating, sustainability, and food science, Food Technology has never been more relevant.

We are looking for teachers who can bring the subject to life - helping students develop not only practical cooking skills, but also a strong understanding of nutrition, food origins, and the science behind food preparation. You will be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to support GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition courses.

Our partner schools are well-equipped with modern kitchens and resources, enabling high-quality practical and theory-based lessons. You will be confident in planning and delivering engaging sessions while maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.

Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, if you are passionate about food education and making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

  • QTS or equivalent (Food Technology specialism preferred)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
