Do you have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs? Or are you a Psychology graduate looking to start your career in education? Two friendly mainstream primary schools in New Malden and Kingston are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their dedicated SEN provision.
About the role:
- 1:1 and small group support for pupils with high-functioning autism
- Supporting emotional wellbeing, communication, and learning
- Using visual aids, clear routines, and calm approaches
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and parents
Ideal background & Skills:
- Previous SEN TA experience
- Psychology / Criminology graduate with child-related experience
- Confident, empathetic, and proactive
- Strong communication skills
