We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Design & Technology to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Preston from after the February half term. This is a full-time position, ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring students through creative and practical learning.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Support students’ progress and encourage creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be passionate about student achievement and practical learning
  • Be reliable, adaptable and a strong team player
