As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging, inclusive, and high-quality physical education lessons to students aged 11–16 (and/or 11–18). You’ll encourage students of all abilities to challenge themselves, develop resilience, and discover a lifelong love of physical activity.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Teach a broad range of activities (e.g. games, athletics, fitness, dance, outdoor education)
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes toward health and wellbeing
- Assess, track, and support student progress and achievement
- Lead and contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events
- Promote an inclusive environment where every student feels motivated and supported
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the wider school curriculum
