Locations: Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest

Pay and Hours:

  • Pay: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
  • Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | Term Time Only
  • Start Date: September 2026

The Role:

Teaching Personnel is working with a range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across East London boroughs, seeking enthusiastic and committed Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in‑class support across a range of subjects
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with additional needs
  • Support students with SEND, SEMH, and learning barriers
  • Assist teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
