We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Dorchester that is looking to recruit motivated graduates to work as Cover Supervisors from September 2026 .
This role provides an excellent opportunity to experience secondary education first-hand while developing the confidence and skills needed for a successful career in teaching.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pre-planned lessons during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will ensure students remain focused, engaged, and on task while following the work that has already been prepared by the class teacher.
There is no lesson planning or marking required , allowing you to focus on developing your classroom management skills and gaining practical experience within a supportive school environment.
Whether you're planning to complete a PGCE, School Direct programme, or another teacher training route, this role offers an excellent foundation.
