Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people to gain valuable classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons during teacher absence and ensure students remain engaged with the work set by the school. The Cover Supervisor role is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience before progressing into teaching or further education roles.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment. The successful Cover Supervisor will ensure students remain on task and follow school behaviour policies throughout the school day. You will also provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons and support students in completing their work effectively.

We are looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor who:

  • Holds a UK-recognised degree or relevant experience working with young people
  • Has an interest in education or teaching
  • Experience as a Cover Supervisor, tutor, coach, mentor, or youth worker is desirable but not essential.
