The Role As a Primary ECT, responsibilities may include: Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in line with the national curriculum Creating positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environments Supporting pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive engagement Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, senior leaders, and wider school staff Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to assessment where required Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) working towards or recently awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
