Whether you've worked as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Care Worker, Sports Coach or Behaviour Mentor, we'd love to hear from you!
The Role
You’ll be supporting students across mainstream secondary schools, working flexibly across different year groups and adapting to the needs of each classroom. Duties may include:
- Supporting students in class across KS3 & KS4 (with opportunities to work across different year groups)
- Providing one-to-one and small group interventions
- Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
- Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and resources
We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people in roles such as: Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker, Care Worker, Behaviour Mentor, Sports Coach, Residential Support Worker, Tutor or similar
- A confident, adaptable and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work across different classes, subjects and year groups
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
