Experienced Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – Year 4)

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sunderland to recruit an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 4.

The Role:

  • We are seeking a confident and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can work effectively on a 1-1 basis, supporting a pupil with additional needs.
  • The successful candidate must be proactive, able to use their initiative, and flexible in their approach to meet the pupil's individual needs throughout the school day.
  • Has previous experience working as a TA, ideally in a 1-1 capacity.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Is confident in using their initiative and responding to pupil needs dynamically.
  • Relevant TA qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).
