A supportive and inclusive school in the SR4 area of Sunderland is looking to appoint a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position suits someone with solid experience supporting children with a range of additional needs and a genuine commitment to helping pupils reach their full potential.

Key Information:

  • Start Date: Following May half term (Monday 1st June)
  • Location: SR4, Sunderland
  • Daily Rate: £92–£110, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support to students with diverse special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide both in-class and one-to-one support where required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with additional needs is essential
  • A calm, flexible, and proactive attitude
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
