Supply Teacher – Tiverton (ASAP Start)

Teaching Personnel is working with local primary schools to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to start as soon as possible. Role Details
- Position: Supply Teacher
- Location: Tiverton and surrounding areas
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay: £130 – £150 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Contract: Flexible supply – short-term, long-term, full-time or part-time
- Planning Required? No – lessons are typically pre-planned
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and 2
- Follow pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS1 and KS2 in UK primary schools (including placements)
- Strong classroom management and confident behaviour strategies
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
