We are currently recruiting for experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools on a day-to-day supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work while making a meaningful impact in specialist education settings.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD and complex learning difficulties
- Working on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored and engaging lessons
- Using positive behaviour management strategies
- Supporting pupils with daily routines, transitions and, where required, personal care
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- A patient, resilient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different school environments
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
