Are you a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work across secondary schools in Wimbledon and the surrounding South West London areas? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of mainstream secondary schools who are seeking adaptable Cover Supervisors to provide last‑minute and pre‑booked cover, ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent.
About the Role
- Supervising classes across KS3‑KS4 using pre‑set lesson plans
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Opportunities across Wimbledon, Merton, Kingston, Sutton, and nearby areas
- Day‑to‑day, short‑term, and longer‑term roles available
- Ideal for candidates who can accept early‑morning (7am) calls for same‑day cover
- Full‑time and part‑time flexibility

- Previous experience working with young people (school‑based experience preferred)
- Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
- Flexibility and reliability, including availability for last‑minute bookings
- Ability to travel to local schools at short notice
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
