IT Technician Support  Full-Time | Secondary School Setting | Powys Love technology? Enjoy helping people? Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for an enthusiastic and approachable IT Technician to join a thriving secondary school and support both staff and students with their technology needs. This role would suit someone with IT support experience, a recent graduate, someone working in media, digital technology or content creation, or an individual with transferable technical skills gained through school, college, university, customer service, retail, or a previous support role. Previous school-based experience is not essential. If you're passionate about technology and would love the opportunity to work in a school environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Providing day-to-day IT support to staff and students. Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues. Setting up laptops, desktops, printers and classroom technology. Supporting Microsoft 365 and other educational software. Helping maintain the school's IT systems and equipment. Assisting with technology projects and upgrades. Playing a key role in ensuring technology enhances teaching and learning across the school. We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have: IT support experience. Media, digital, creative technology or content production experience. Experience gained through college, university, apprenticeships or personal projects. Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for finding solutions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. The ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change.
