Teaching Personnel is seeking caring and committed SEND Outdoor Learning Support Assistants to support pupils in schools across Exeter and the surrounding areas.

Role Details
- Location: Exeter & surrounding areas
- Pay: £105–£115 per day
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Full-time, term time only
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 or small group support during outdoor learning sessions
- Adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities
- Support EHCPs, IEPs, and behaviour plans in practical settings
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement
- Support emotional wellbeing, communication, and behaviour regulation
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and support staff

- Experience supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential)
- Transferable experience (e.g. care, youth work, outdoor education, or personal SEND experience)
- A patient, resilient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
