Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through outdoor learning and hands-on activities? Teaching Personnel is seeking caring and committed SEND Outdoor Learning Support Assistants to support pupils in schools across Exeter and the surrounding areas.

Whether you already have SEND experience or are looking to begin a rewarding career in education, we would love to hear from you.

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support during outdoor learning sessions
  • Support EHCPs, IEPs, and behaviour plans in practical settings
  • Support emotional wellbeing, communication, and behaviour regulation
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and support staff
  • Experience supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential)
  • Transferable experience (e.g. care, youth work, outdoor education, or personal SEND experience)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
