Flexible Cover Teacher – Wigan Schools

We are looking for a Flexible Cover Teacher to provide teaching support across primary and secondary schools in Wigan. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to gain experience across multiple school settings.

The Role:

  • Delivering lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Following lesson plans and supporting pupils to achieve learning objectives
  • Liaising with school staff to provide feedback on lessons and pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified teacher (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience
  • Confident managing classrooms across different year groups and subjects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
