Are you interested in pursuing an exciting new role based in one of our Durham Secondary Schools? Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of secondary schools who require short-term supply teachers to cover periods of staff absence and shortages. This is a fantastic opportunity for fully qualified teachers to gain valuable experience in a wide range of schools on a flexible basis.

The job role will involve delivering lessons in accordance with provided lesson plans, as well as supporting pupils with the task and maintaining a controlled and safe learning space.

Teacher requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Cover supervisor roles available for candidates without QTS.
  • Good knowledge of the current curriculum.
  • Teaching experience in schools.
  • Available 2-5 days a week.
  • Able to travel to areas of Durham such as Chester-le-Street, Houghton and Central Durham.
