We are currently looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support a partner secondary school in the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, delivering pre-set lesson plans, and ensuring a productive classroom environment. Whether you\'re looking for full-time or part-time work, we are happy to work around your availability.

  • Position: Cover Supervisor

  • Location: Wolverhampton and surrounding areas

  • Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)

  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience and responsibilities

  • Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of teaching staff

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task

  • Promote positive behaviour and manage classroom dynamics effectively

  • Respond to student queries in line with school policies

  • Report back to the teacher or senior staff regarding progress or issues encountered

  • Support the school\'s ethos and contribute to a safe and respectful environment

  • Previous experience in a school or working with young people is desirable

  • Strong classroom presence and the ability to engage students across key stages

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to remain calm, professional and in control under pressure

  • Confident in managing behaviour and following school procedures

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
