We are currently looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support a partner secondary school in the Wolverhampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, delivering pre-set lesson plans, and ensuring a productive classroom environment. Whether you\'re looking for full-time or part-time work, we are happy to work around your availability.
Position: Cover Supervisor
Location: Wolverhampton and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and responsibilities
Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of teaching staff
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task
Promote positive behaviour and manage classroom dynamics effectively
Respond to student queries in line with school policies
Report back to the teacher or senior staff regarding progress or issues encountered
Support the school\'s ethos and contribute to a safe and respectful environment
Previous experience in a school or working with young people is desirable
Strong classroom presence and the ability to engage students across key stages
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to remain calm, professional and in control under pressure
Confident in managing behaviour and following school procedures
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
