The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring students continue learning effectively during teacher absences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre‑planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Maintaining a positive and purposeful learning environment
- Supporting students to remain engaged and on task
- Working with students of varying abilities and needs
- Providing additional support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where appropriate
- Building strong, professional relationships with students and staff
