We are recruiting an experienced Cover Supervisor for a long-term placement in a secondary school in Ashford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, maintaining classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain engaged in their learning. The Cover Supervisor will work across a range of subjects and year groups, providing consistency and support during teacher absence.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising classes during teacher absence

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

Ensuring students remain on task with set work

Reporting back to teaching staff as required

This Cover Supervisor role is ideal for individuals considering a career in education or those with prior classroom experience. Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working with young people is desirable, along with strong communication skills.

In return, the successful Cover Supervisor will receive £100 – £120 per day (DOE) and ongoing support. You will also benefit from opportunities to develop as a Cover Supervisor within a supportive school environment.
