Overview
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a motivated and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a well-respected secondary school in Selsey, Chichester. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience or are considering a future career in teaching.
Responsibilities
- Supervise classes of students aged 11–16 during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
- Provide additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) when required.
Qualifications and attributes
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils, including exposure to SEN, is preferred.
