Teaching personnel are looking for a dedicated individual for a cover manager role at a secondary school in Northampton.

The school were given an Ofsted inspection of Good which is brilliant.

This is a full time role.

Starting September 2025

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for recording staff absence and consulting with staff agencies to book supply teachers.
  • Directly cover staff when required.
  • Perform the duties of a cover teacher during the absence of a class\’s teacher.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of work set for cover lessons.
  • Provide feedback on learning activities.
